Join us for an illuminating program on the history of the woman’s suffrage movement and how it inspired the production of the Broadway musical SUFFs, followed by a conversation about the SAVE Act, what it is and how its passage would challenge the right to vote for many Americans.
Contra Costa Librarian, Alison Peters, will moderate the discussion. Panelists are LWVUS President Dianna Wynn and Rachel Sussman, lead producer of Suffs. Senator Alex Padilla has been invited.
